I AM 1 OF HUNDREDS OF VICTIMS WHO GOT RIPPED OFF BY PRECIOUS FILESONIC.
WHEN THESE CHINESE CROOKS SUDDENLY AND WITHOUT WARNING DISABLED THEIR FILESHARING I AND MANY HUNDREDS DID NOT KNOW WHY, HAD NO CLUE AND ASSUMED THAT MY SUBSCRIPTION HAD EXPIRED SO I RENEWED IT AT $35.00.
I THEN REALIZED THAT FILE SHARING WAS STILL NOT POSSIBLE SO IT WAS NOT MY SUBSCRIPTION. I LOOKED FOR AN EXPLANATION ON THEIR WEBSITE BUT GOT THE GENERIC NOTICE THAT FILESHARING HAD BEEN DISABLED PERIOD, NO EXPLANATION AND CONTACTING THEM WAS CIRCLE TALK THAT GOES NOWHERE.
I DISPUTED THE PAYMENT WITH PAYPAL AND WILL START FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES COMPLAINTS WITH FLORIDA’S STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S CONSUMER FRAUD DIVISION.
IF YOU LOOK AT THEIR CURRENT WEBSITE, IT LOOKS LIKE SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES CAUSES THEM TO HAVE SHUT DOWN THEIR FILESHARING AND LACKS SUFFICIENT CLARITY SO THAT A REASONABLE UNSUSPECTING PERSON WILL EITHER CONTINUE THEIR SUBSCRIPTION WAITING FOR REGULAR SERVICE TO BE RE-INSTATED OR NEW CUSTOMERS HAVING HEARD OF FILE SHARING COULD BE TRICKED INTO THE SAME FRAUDULENT DILEMMA. AT MINIMUM WE HAVE A LEGALLY ESTABLISHED BREACH OF CONTRACT AND CURRENT MEMBERS SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO OPT OUT AFTER RECEIVING A PRO RATED REFUND.
INSTEAD EVERYBODY GETS RIPPED OFF AND FILESONIC’S EXCUSE IS THE EQUIVALENT OF “SO SORRY CANT PAY YOU BACK…YOU MUST APPLY FOR THE REFUND THROUGH THE TOOTH FAIRY AND WE DON’T HAVE HER ADDRESS…..

my account was working but I just didn’t have any money in it.. today I check my account and it has been suspended due to breaking TOS..

Not only did they delete all my files they close my free account LOL

Take it from someone who has used about all the filesharing sevices FileSonic is by far the worst Please don’t spend a dime with them. I last month spent $55.00 for premium and 1 month later they disbled sharing, I have request a refund 5 times now because I feel I have been scammed and they keep sending me the same responce on how to cancle but not how to get a refund. They are going down I’m going to file charges against them and so should everyone eles who has paid money for a worthless service.

Yes, they fucked up my account with $186 in it, due for the next payment day i.e. on 23rd Jan.

I raised support tickets regarding this issue and they’re not responding to it and treating my request as closed without any solution or feedback other than stating that their affiliate program is closed.

I need your advice regarding initiating legal proceedings against filesonic for cheating, de-frauding and illegally money laundering me and similar others.

@ SHARON JOY ROUX.. I tried using the translate button, but your message still makes little sense.. My point is that everyone involved in the affiliate program, and now bitching that they’ve been screwed over by a company that was in the business of making money by screwing other people over, really ought to undergo a reality check, and go look up irony in their nearest dictionary.

For the record, i lost about 600 files when Megaupload was taken down, but accepted the situation for what it was. I’ve got memberships with many different filehost (never bothered with Fileserve) and have had to weather loosing everything I’ve uploaded too many times to mention over the years.

As a poster of copyrighted materials you should accept that this kind of thing goes with the territory, if not, you should probably get another hobby.

And for the record, I’d have more sympathy if you were posting for something other than just the money.

I personally hated both filepost, megaupload, rapidshare AND most of all hotfile…I used to have alot of my stuff on RS, but then their service went down to crap…then switched to hotfile, who’s servers crashed & lost ALL my files…then megaupload which omg i can’t believe what happened.

YES THEY TOOK MY MONEY OUT 2 DAY BEFORE THEY CLOSED ALL THERE LINKS IT MORE THE 300 LINKS GONE , ALL MOVIES AND T.V ARE GONE I SURE THE GAME ARE GONE TOO.
