Heres my guide to making money posting links. There are several ways to do this, this method has worked for me so I'm going to share it with you. Most people want to make money sharing links and files, but they don't want to go through the work of uploading the content, and then posting all the links. There are a few things you will need to get started.
1. Go to http://www.rapidgen.net and sign up for a free account. We recommend donating 1.00 and getting access to premium account. It is well worth your money, and if you follow this guide you will make this money back quickly.
2. File hosting account. I take it you already have an account. There are several places that pay per 1000 downloads, so just pick one. The key here is the payment threshold (amount you have to have to request payout), and the amount per 1000 downloads. A lot of people like fileserve, in this guide I am using Enterupload. Both offer good payouts, fileserve has a payment threshold of $15.00 and enterupload has a threshold of $10.00.
3. Sites where you can post your links. There are thousands of these sites, ddl forums, and blogs. In this example we are going to be using scenereleases.info . A couple other good ones are rlslog.net and scnsrc.net. Keep in mind after you have your files uploaded, you can usually post to all three of these sites.
4. Select the file you wish to upload / share. See all the user comments? Copy (ctrl + c) the URL like I did below:
- Copy the download URL
5. Okay now go to www.rapidgen.net, sign in to your account. Click on the "generate" button. Paste (ctrl + V) the URL into the box there, and click on the "convert" button as shown below.

6. So basically all we have done, is went to www.scenereleases.info, clicked on a release. Browsed the comments and copied one of the URLs. Went to rapidgen.net/generate and pasted the URL into the box, and clicked convert. After you do this, there will be a box that pops up with a new, converted URL in it. Copy (ctrl + c) the URL as shown below:

7. Go to a filehost of our choice (fileserve, enterupload, filesonic, filefactory, hotfile, netload.in, ECT). The file host you pick must have a "remote" upload" feature, most of them do. Click on remote upload, and paste the URL into the box as shown below:

8. Click "upload". Note that some file hosters will not show you the progress of your upload, when it's complete you can find your file under "my files". However, some file hosting services show you the file progress as it's uploading, as shown below:

9. When the file is done uploading, you should see the URL of your newly uploaded file. Copy (ctrl + C) this new url, and go back to the original page you found the link in step 4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you will see a box used for posting comments. Type in your name or whatever, and paste your newly uploaded URL into the box. Some people add decorations, or put the filename above, sometimes these can add to more downloads. Click submit to post your comment, as show below:

11. Now go to other sites and post your URL. Rlslog.net and scnsrc.net are some good ones. Now whenever someone clicks your link and downloads the file, you will get money added to your account. Some file hosters used a "point" system, where points can be traded in for a premium account or for money. Some file hosting services just use money.
Try it a few times, you will get better at it. The more links you post = the more downloads you get, and the more downloads you get = the more money you make.
I know this how to guide is very "noobish", but I was trying to keep it simple for all the new users who might be interested. For the advanced users, this is a good way to post your uploads that has quite a few benefits. The first would be, you don't have to download the file, so you don't have to risk getting viruses and other crap, and you don't have to waste your bandwidth (and time) downloading and Re-uploading the files. I donated $1.00 to rapidgen.net, and it was very well worth my time. Premium users get better benefits, plus more file hosting accounts are included.
So basically:
Grab Link > Convert Link > Remote upload > Share new URL.
Simple. Please post any thoughts, ideas, or comments.
